Regarding our Reopening
We are pleased to announce the Arizona Inn's reopening on October 1 st , 2020. In addition to the Inn's naturally advantageous open space and broad layout, we've taken appropriately well-considered steps to provide the safest possible environment for our guests and staff.
Service and Amenities
The Inn is initially open to registered guests only. Above and beyond the existing local, state, and CDC guidelines, we've enhanced our extraordinarily high standard of cleanliness with a careful eye toward most effectively safeguarding everyone's health. As a result, some of our normal services and amenities have been modified or even temporarily discontinued. Please know these changes have been undertaken only after a great deal of dedicated thought, and we truly appreciate your understanding during these odd and unusual days.
Front Desk and Lobby
Valet parking at the Arizona Inn is temporarily suspended. Self-parking is located directly across from the main entrance and, as ever, our bell staff is available to assist you with your luggage. The Inn's check-in and check-out process is now limited and contactless wherever possible; room keys are completely disinfected prior to dispersal. Hand sanitizing stations are located in public areas, rest rooms, and the front desk. All such areas are now frequently and carefully cleaned by a dedicated attendant. The Inn's reception and service areas have been reconfigured to effectively facilitate social distancing. Guests are asked to maintain a space of six feet apart from others. The City of Tucson currently requires every person to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when in a public setting where continuous physical distancing is difficult or impossible. Please do wear a mask.
All Arizona Inn rooms will undergo a thorough step-by-step deep cleaning and sanitization process after each guest departs, with additional focus on ALL high touch areas including door handles, light switches, TV remotes, telephones, thermostats, bathroom fixtures, vanity mirrors, etc. Once a guest checks in, our housekeeping staff will not enter that guest's room. That is, housekeeping services will not be automatically provided at this time. However housekeeping is standing by, and if there is anything you'd like during your stay please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance. If you'd like rubbish removed, for example, or fresh linens delivered to your room, we'll provide the appropriate bags. All amenities will be delivered to your room safely in a plastic bag and left on your patio. In addition to the extremely careful cleaning and disinfecting of every guest room, each room will always be left vacant for a minimum of 24 hours between guests.
Food & Beverage Service
Our Main Dining Room and Audubon Bar remain closed until further notice. However a limited room service menu is offered daily during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Orders will be prepared upon request and packaged with disposable dishes and cutlery, left on each guest's patio table with a knock on the door to announce its arrival. Folding tables and chairs are provided in each room. Comfortable, safely-spaced tables have been made available throughout the property for your use, and room service meals will be brought directly to any of these locations upon request. Happily, full bar and bottle service are also available throughout the Inn.
