Dinner is glam, they have a great menu, though in the summer there are fewer vegan options than normal.

I have gone to ...

I have gone to the Audubon Bar many times for Sunday brunch, in all seasons. The Inn is a beautiful, historic Tucson experience. But... The dining service is consistently very slow (example: today, a Sunday in July, my party of 2 was able to sit inside immediately when we arrived at 10:30. The outdoor patio was empty. We got our drinks promptly and ordered soon after. The food arrived at 11:28. I suspect they cut their kitchen and service staff way back in the summer. Dining in the winter is a similar experience--there are more people working but the service isn't any faster. To their credit, the service staff are very pleasant and polite.) The food is "ok" bordering on "pretty good." The menu is a mix of traditional staples and variations with a regional flair. There are definitely restaurants in town that serve food that's more interesting and better executed. The prices at the Inn are fair for the portions, considering that dining out anywhere is expensive. If I were staying as a guest at the Inn and counting on eating one or more meals a day there, I would be satisfied--neither disappointed nor impressed.
